About the role

Agilesoft SpA is looking for a QA Engineer to join a new development cell that works directly with a strategic client. The role is focused on quality, agility and collaboration, offering challenging projects and opportunities for technical growth and leadership in a mostly remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive test plans, cases, scripts and scenarios from requirements and user stories.
• Execute functional tests (Smoke, Regression, UAT) and identify inconsistencies, edge cases and UI/UX defects.
• Log incidents in Jira with reproducible steps, track defects to resolution and validate fixes.
• Evaluate requirements, identify gaps and provide both user‑centric and technical perspectives.
• Support UAT activities and post‑implementation phases, including the creation of user manuals when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in functional analysis and QA testing.
• Strong knowledge of agile and traditional software development methodologies.
• Native Spanish speaker with advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work autonomously, think critically and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with defect management (Jira) and quality metrics.
• SQL knowledge for test data preparation.
• Familiarity with API testing (REST/SOAP) and web automation.
