Semi-Senior Front-end Engineer (React/Next.js)

About the role

Join Truelogic’s Core Web team to build a new headless front‑end for an independent global news organization. Working alongside two senior engineers, you will create pages and reusable components for a first launch slated for early next year, leveraging an AI‑first workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible UI components using React and Next.js.
• Integrate components with a headless CMS and backend APIs (REST/GraphQL).
• Write unit and component tests (Jest, React Testing Library) and participate in code reviews, planning, and estimations.
• Deliver end‑to‑end features from ticket to merged, tested code, raising blockers as needed.
• Utilize enterprise AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) to assist coding, refactoring, testing, and debugging, while critically reviewing AI output.

Required profile

• 3+ years of front‑end engineering experience.
• Solid experience with React and production‑grade Next.js projects, including SSR/SSG and routing.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building responsive, accessible interfaces from design specifications.
• Regular use of AI coding assistants in recent development work.
