Senior Solutions Engineer

About the role

F5 is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join its sales organization. The role combines technical expertise with customer‑facing sales activities, helping partners and customers design, implement, and optimise F5 solutions across multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complex design and systems‑engineering configurations for customers and partners.
• Partner with Product Development and Product Management to support change‑request and special‑request cases.
• Develop and deliver solution‑based presentations that articulate both technical features and business value.
• Maintain detailed account profiles and collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams throughout the sales cycle.
• Support channel partners with training, technical expertise, and qualification activities.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in cloud, security, application delivery, network infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, IaaS or PaaS environments.
• Strong presentation, communication and pre‑sales account‑management skills.
• Significant pre‑sales or systems‑engineering experience, preferably with F5 or comparable solutions.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Czech or Slovak.

Required skills

• Cloud, Security, Application Delivery, Network Infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with F5 core products or competing solutions.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications.
