About the role

Proxima, an American IT services firm serving the insurance industry, is seeking a .NET Developer to join a client’s software team. The role involves developing and maintaining web applications in a remote, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop web applications according to specifications and business requirements.
• Analyze requirements, produce design documents and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with .NET developers, database developers, QA staff, business analysts and project managers.
• Maintain and debug existing web modules and perform unit testing.
• Use internal defect tracking tools and contribute to product knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET and SQL Server.
• Experience developing in a Windows environment and familiarity with software development life‑cycle models.
• Strong organizational, written and communication skills.
