About the role

We are a premier nursing home facility seeking a Director of Recruiting to lead the hiring process for all staff levels, from clinical nurses to support and administrative teams. This role is the friendly voice of our organization, building strong pipelines of compassionate healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Drive full‑cycle hiring: source, screen, interview, and onboard high‑quality candidates across every department.
• Engage and connect with candidates, serving as the welcoming representative of the facility.
• Maintain meticulous applicant tracking, credential verification, reference checks, and compliance documentation.
• Make decisive hiring choices under high‑turnover pressure while upholding quality standards.
• Collaborate daily with department heads to understand immediate staffing needs and deliver reliable candidates quickly.

Required profile

• Exceptional communicator, articulate and persuasive in both written and verbal communication.
• Warm, empathetic people‑person able to build rapid rapport with diverse candidates.
• Resilient under fast‑paced pressure, confident in decision‑making, and comfortable enforcing high standards.
• Detail‑oriented with rigorous tracking of compliance, licensure verification, and onboarding paperwork.
• Platform‑savvy with proven experience using job boards and applicant tracking systems.

Required skills

• Experience with Indeed and other healthcare‑focused job boards.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for high‑volume recruitment.
