Labor Relations Specialist – HR Operations

About the role

Horatio is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to support its administrative departments and help shape comprehensive HR policies. You will act as a key liaison on compliance, employee relations, and talent management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review, track and document compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training, certifications and professional licensure.
• Administer HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, investigations and performance management.
• Handle employment‑related inquiries, refer complex matters, and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
• Maintain compliance with local employment laws, recommend best practices and keep policies up‑to‑date.
• Facilitate communication with employee representative organizations and provide guidance to managers on employee‑relations practices.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee matters.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Experience using talent‑management or HRIS systems (or ability to learn quickly).
