Director of Recruiting

About the role

We are a premier nursing home seeking a dynamic Director of Recruiting to lead all hiring activities across clinical, support, and administrative functions. You will be the welcoming voice of the facility, building strong pipelines of compassionate healthcare professionals while ensuring compliance and quality throughout the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Drive full‑cycle hiring: source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates for RNs, LPNs, CNAs, dietary, housekeeping, and admin roles.
• Engage and connect with candidates, acting as the friendly representative of the facility.
• Maintain high‑volume applicant tracking, verify credentials, conduct reference checks, and manage compliance documentation with zero errors.
• Make decisive hiring decisions under pressure, manage turnover urgency, and uphold high quality standards.
• Collaborate daily with department heads to understand immediate staffing needs and deliver qualified candidates quickly.

Required profile

• Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal.
• Warm, empathetic people‑person able to build rapid rapport with diverse candidates.
• Resilient under fast‑paced pressure with a strong backbone for decision‑making.
• Meticulous attention to detail for tracking, compliance, and licensure verification.
• Proven experience using recruitment platforms and ATS tools.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Indeed.
• Experience posting on healthcare‑specific job boards.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
