Supervisor de Recepción

About the role

The Reception Supervisor will lead the front‑desk team to ensure smooth arrivals, departures and special events, while delivering a high level of guest satisfaction in a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise arrivals, departures, VIP lists, repeat and special guests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel services and facilities.
• Follow schedules, disciplinary rules and assigned tasks.
• Handle guest requests and coordinate solutions with supervisors or other departments.
• Ensure accurate data entry through the digital check‑in system.
• Verify room status in the system and, when needed, with housekeeping.
• Audit programmed keys and monitor room changes during the shift.
• Support public‑relations and family‑concierge operations, speeding queues and improving processes.
• Make restaurant reservations using BSuite/TÓTEM.
• Review the key‑holder map for the day, update the system for changes or cancellations, and monitor any incidents.
• Check hand‑over deliveries between shifts and confirm correct charges for direct reservations.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience as a reception supervisor or a similar role.
• Higher‑education or technical professional training, preferably with a focus on customer service.
• Professional level English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong initiative, customer orientation and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using hotel management database software.
• Familiarity with digital check‑in platforms.
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation systems such as BSuite or TÓTEM.
