Senior Medicaid Case Manager – Elder Care

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and highly organized Senior Medicaid Case Manager to guide seniors and their families through the Medicaid application process. The role combines empathy with strong analytical abilities to ensure each application is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the financial documentation process performed by the support team.
• Review 3‑5 years of bank statements, asset disclosures, tax returns, and legal documents to build a comprehensive financial profile.
• Ensure the entire application package complies with state regulations and deadlines before submission.
• Conduct sensitive interviews with seniors and families, explaining complex Medicaid rules in clear, reassuring language.
• Provide a calm presence for clients experiencing stress or cognitive decline, moving at a pace that respects their comfort.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients, financial institutions, legal representatives, and Medicaid offices to resolve queries.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in case management, social work, elder law, or medical billing.
• Direct experience with long‑term care Medicaid applications is highly preferred.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to spot missing information in financial records.
• Strong critical‑thinking skills to navigate bureaucratic obstacles.
