Senior Automation Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Automation Design Engineer will design automation projects across mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software domains, ensuring specifications are met within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Design automation equipment in areas of expertise such as mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software applications.
• Collaborate with Project Managers/Engineers to meet timelines and budgets.
• Interpret project requirements and integrate them into equipment designs.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and coordinate with assemblers/manufacturers.
• Produce design drawings, installation manuals, and user manuals.
• Log engineering time in the project tracking system.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in automation equipment design and installation.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electronics, electrical, and software application engineering.
• Familiarity with EMS industry practices and automation equipment assembly.
