Product Engineer II

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Product Engineer II to support the production of medical devices. The role focuses on ensuring high‑volume manufacturing runs smoothly, addressing technical issues, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support engineering for testing methods, procedures, and problem resolution.
• Address device specification, yield challenges, minor redesigns, and analysis of customer returns.
• Manage supplier‑related engineering changes and optimize device production within cost constraints.
• Assume responsibility for components after transfer to high‑volume production and oversee manufacturing operations beyond wafer fabrication.
• Assist customers with device usage problems and complex testing.

Required profile

• Baccalaureate degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with no required experience.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects with general supervision.
• Effective communication with internal teams and occasional external contacts.
