Senior Ariba IT Support Lead

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Ariba IT Support Lead to own the design, delivery, and technical stewardship of its SAP Ariba procurement platform. As a recognized subject‑matter expert, you will architect multi‑module solutions, ensure platform reliability, and mentor a team of developers and support analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP Ariba solutions across Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Ariba Network.
• Serve as the top technical escalation point for complex, cross‑module issues and drive root‑cause analysis and permanent remediation.
• Develop, configure, and govern custom forms, approval workflows, catalog management, and business rules.
• Mentor junior developers and support analysts, conduct code and design reviews, and uplift team capabilities.
• Drive large‑scale initiatives such as automation, incident reduction, release governance, and platform health improvements.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and IT leadership to shape the Ariba roadmap and manage vendor escalations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering complex SAP Ariba solutions.
• Proven ability to operate with minimal supervision and influence technical direction.
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills for junior team members.
• Excellent problem‑solving aptitude in ambiguous environments.
