Senior Back-End & MLOps Engineer – Real Estate Marketplace

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Back-End/MLOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing real‑estate technology company. In this blended position you will design and maintain the backend systems that power search, ranking and matching, while also building the infrastructure that supports machine‑learning models in production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack features for marketplace products, including search and ranking components.
• Design, implement and operate MLOps pipelines, model deployment workflows, feature stores and real‑time data streams.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product partners and engineers to bring ML models to production at scale.
• Write clean, well‑tested, maintainable code and participate actively in code reviews.
• Break down complex problems into scoped tasks, contribute to technical planning and resolve performance, reliability and scalability issues.
• Work with data pipelines, SQL queries and A/B testing frameworks to support experimentation.
• Communicate progress clearly, surface blockers early and coordinate with distributed teams across time zones.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in backend development and infrastructure engineering.
• Proven ability to work with data‑driven products and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• SQL
• MLOps concepts (model deployment pipelines, feature stores, real‑time data pipelines)
• Backend development and API design
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks
