People Leader Caribbean and Central America

About the role

Marsh is looking for a People Leader for the Caribbean and Central America region, based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The role supports the CEO and direct reports for the Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico, and works with HR Managers and Centers of Excellence to implement and evaluate initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, engagement, leadership performance and the colleague experience. It is a hybrid position with at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CEO and direct reports and act as a senior advisor on people strategy, collaborating on organizational design/effectiveness, workforce and succession planning.
• Drive organizational redesign in response to changing client expectations and requirements.
• Connect business priorities, people data, financial considerations and employee insights to identify risks and develop practical solutions.
• Translate complex information into clear recommendations and actionable plans for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Manage large-scale projects, coaching and advising senior leaders while solving complex problems.
• Work with colleagues across the business to understand the full scope of client relationships and services.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of relevant experience as HR Head or HRBP; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience in a matrix structure, preferably in multinational organizations.
• Recognized as an experienced advisor and coach to senior leaders.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Commercially oriented, with experience creating and evaluating business cases for change.

• Ability to use metrics, SLAs and technology to improve execution and drive insights.
• Comfort with workforce metrics, budgets, compensation data and financial information.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
