HR Recruiting Assistant

About the role

A full-time, permanent HR Recruiting Assistant is needed on site in Santiago, Dominican Republic, to source, screen and schedule candidates for open roles. The position has steady weekday hours and clear monthly pay, and expats living in or near Santiago are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing talent through job boards, social media and professional networks
• Screening candidates by phone and assessing their fit against the role requirements
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating communication between candidates and hiring teams
• Maintaining accurate records in the tracking system

Required profile

• Advanced English (required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (required)
• Comfortable making calls and reaching out to candidates (required)
• Living in or near Santiago, DR (required)
• Organized, proactive and persistent, able to work independently and manage several candidates at once
• Preferred: 2+ years of recent recruiting or sourcing experience; HR or staffing administration experience also counts

Required skills

• LinkedIn Recruiter (preferred)
• Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (preferred)

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST (day shift). Pay is approximately RD$48,000 per month (about RD$250 per hour). Applications take about 2 minutes and applicants are contacted within 24-48 hours.
