Local Data Protection Officer (SK & CZ)

About the role

The Local Data Protection Officer will advise on compliance with data privacy policies, develop local privacy procedures, and support the implementation of Allianz’s privacy framework across the Slovak and Czech entities. The role involves handling data subject requests, managing incidents, and raising privacy awareness within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with existing data‑privacy policies and develop new procedures for local programs.
• Handle data‑subject enquiries, including rights such as withdrawal of consent and the right to be forgotten.
• Advise on personal‑data incidents, breach notifications, remediation actions, and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare, roll out, and monitor completion of Allianz Data Privacy trainings.
• Design and deliver privacy awareness campaigns for the local entity.
• Conduct privacy assessments, including Data Register and Privacy Impact Assessments.
• Implement the Allianz Technology Data Privacy Control Framework at the local level.
• Report to senior management and represent the entity before the local Data Privacy Supervisory Authority.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data privacy and compliance, with solid knowledge of GDPR and its corporate application.
• Strong understanding of privacy impact assessments and risk‑management methodologies.
• Experience developing and implementing privacy policies, procedures, and control frameworks, preferably in a multinational insurance or financial‑services environment.
• Excellent advisory and stakeholder‑management abilities, capable of providing clear guidance to business teams and external authorities.
• Effective communication and training skills, with a track record of delivering privacy awareness programs.
