Senior Administrador(a) – Contratos

About the role

Barri​ck is looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to join its Supply Chain team. The professional will manage the full life‑cycle of contracts that support mining operations, from tender formation through award, execution and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts from formation, through award, to contractual close‑out.
• Review, evaluate and negotiate variations, change orders, formal communications and claims.
• Apply and manage contracts under FIDIC (Red Book 1999, White Book 2017) and other relevant frameworks.
• Coordinate with internal departments and Finance to ensure compliance and proper payment milestones.
• Prepare formal recommendations for approval of changes and claims.
• Monitor commercial risk, cost impacts, schedule impacts and ensure adherence to company standards, HSE policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Graduate in Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of contract administration experience in mining or chemical industry, handling contracts > US$20 M.
• Strong English proficiency.
• Proven ability to manage changes, cost impacts and negotiate with contractors.
• Experience with large‑scale, high‑criticality contracts.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Knowledge of PowerBi (preferred).
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract suites (Red Book, White Book).
