Leave of Absence Coordinator
Emapta Global · Distrito Nacional
Job description
About the role
Emapta is recruiting a Leave of Absence Coordinator for a US-based professional employer organization (PEO) that provides HR outsourcing, payroll administration, benefits, leave management and HR technology. The role supports client configurations, absence management workflows and accurate reporting for US businesses, with a day-shift, weekend-off schedule and a fully remote setup.
Key responsibilities
- Set up new clients in AbsenceSoft, activate Worksite and Prism access, update the LOA page and upload approved letter and communication templates
- Monitor AbsenceSoft support tickets, collect missing information and escalate issues, and generate ad hoc and recurring reports in AbsenceSoft Insights
- Review case queues and assign cases accurately, and assist with client policy reviews and custom configurations
- Manage leave queues in ClientSpace and AbsenceSoft, close client accounts in Prism when services end, and complete employer statements through Unum after training
- Respond to simple information requests such as retrieving pay stubs from Prism, and prepare weekly reminder and overdue task reports
- Over time: handle complex policy interpretations, routine support tickets, API errors and system integrations, and support return-to-work processes
Required profile
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Basic understanding of leave-of-absence concepts; prior leave administration experience is not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete time-sensitive tasks on the same day, and manage routine administrative tasks
- Preference for a dedicated assignment to the leave administration team rather than a shared-work model
Required skills
- Navigating AbsenceSoft, Worksite, Prism, ClientSpace and reporting tools
- Report preparation, Excel formatting, data filtering and basic data organization
- Attention to detail in client configurations, report reviews and case assignments
What we offer
- Indefinite-term type contract, day shift, weekends off, work from home
- Compliance with Dominican statutory benefits: 13th-month pay, paid annual vacation and public holidays, and social security covering health insurance, pension (AFP) and occupational risk insurance
- Career growth, exposure to international clients, and learning and development support through Emapta Academy
