Jefe/a de Proyecto TI Senior – Scrum Master

About the role

Agilesoft SpA is expanding the delivery cell that works with a strategic client, currently composed of back‑end and front‑end developers using Java (Quarkus) and Next.js on a micro‑services architecture deployed in containers. We are looking for a senior IT Project Lead who will act as Scrum Master, bridging the technical team, the client, and the architecture/DevOps areas to ensure planning, quality, and delivery timelines align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of the project, coordinating developers with PO, PM, DevOps and architecture counterparts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client: gather requirements, manage expectations, report progress and negotiate scope and deadlines.
• Translate business needs into user stories, epics and prioritized backlogs, validating technical feasibility with architecture.
• Oversee micro‑service deployments in Docker/Kubernetes and understand release impact on schedules.
• Identify and manage risks, blockers and technical dependencies, escalating when necessary.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, daily, retro, review) and keep project metrics (velocity, burndown, SLAs) up‑to‑date.
• Promote collaboration, agility and quality, while maintaining team motivation and technical growth.
• Drive CI/CD best practices, automated testing and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of proven experience leading software development projects.
• Strong understanding of micro‑services architectures and back‑end development lifecycle (coding not required).
• Hands‑on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project tools such as Jira.
• Excellent communication, autonomy, negotiation skills and results orientation.
• Experience leading remote and distributed teams.
• Scrum Master certification is required.
