IT Specialist - Punta Cana

About the role

TUI Musement is looking for an IT Specialist to join its global IT team based in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. You will support internal and external customers with a high level of service, working closely with stakeholders of the Caribbean IT team, mainly across TUI Musement sites in the Dominican Republic, the Caribbean and the Americas region, and secondarily worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide deskside support, in person or remotely, including M365 support, Windows 10/11 support (including imaging), troubleshooting and general user support.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding of users and devices, including iPads, fixed phones, mobiles and point-of-sale devices.
• Support the back-office infrastructure, acting as "smart hands" for servers, firewalls, switches, NAS and phone systems.
• Compile reports, track and confirm inventory, and take part in special projects beyond your daily work.
• Commit to continuous growth of your IT skills and soft skills as part of a global IT resource pool.
• Be flexible to work occasionally on Saturdays when needed.

Required profile

• Proven hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, Apple OS and smartphones in a Help Desk environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English with polite, professional customer service skills.
• Comfortable maintaining high availability during shifts, in the office or remotely via Teams.
• Natural collaborator who shares knowledge within the team.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 and Apple OS support.
• Help Desk experience.
• Experience with Office 365, Apple iPads and iPhones, smartphones and third-party vendors (as liaison) is helpful.
• Willingness to learn, assist with IT budgeting, become a Subject Matter Expert and support end-user education such as moving users to OneDrive or Teams.
