Front Desk Manager

About the role

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia is building its pre‑opening team and seeks a Front Desk Manager to lead the front desk operations. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Rooms, you will ensure seamless arrivals, departures and personalized guest experiences while upholding Four Seasons standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily front desk operations, guaranteeing smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences.
• Participate in pre‑opening activities such as developing standard operating procedures, system testing, room‑key programming, establishing front desk controls and simulating guest journeys.
• Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, coach and develop the front desk team, fostering a culture of genuine care and continuous improvement.
• Review daily arrivals, departures, room assignments, special requests and guest preferences, ensuring accurate communication and execution.
• Coordinate with other departments to deliver a cohesive and exceptional guest experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing front desk operations in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Experience with pre‑opening hotel projects and the ability to develop operational procedures.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage guest preferences and special requests.
