English-Spanish OPI/VRI Interpreter (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Kreato Global, a provider of business process outsourcing and language services, is hiring experienced English-Spanish interpreters based in Latin America for a remote blended OPI (over-the-phone) and VRI (video remote interpretation) role starting in October 2026. Interpreters will support medical, social service, customer care and financial settings, using consecutive interpretation while keeping professionalism, impartiality, confidentiality and accuracy.

A minimum of six months of verifiable professional experience in remote OPI and/or VRI interpretation is mandatory; candidates without it will not be considered.

Required profile

• At least six months of verifiable remote OPI and/or VRI interpretation experience.
• Advanced English fluency (minimum C1) and native-level Spanish fluency.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional environment with a reliable wired internet connection.
• Availability to complete recruitment, technical verification and client onboarding before the start date.

Required skills

• Accurate, complete, impartial and professional consecutive interpretation.
• Strong knowledge of medical, financial and social service terminology.
• Understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality and HIPAA-related requirements.
• Attention to detail, active listening and neutrality in sensitive situations.

Technical requirements

• Stable wired internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted.
• One of the approved USB headsets: Logitech H390, Jabra GN/Evolve series, Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000, Plantronics Blackwire C3220, Dell Plantronics HP Stereo USB Headset G2.
• Computer with an Intel Core i5 (6th gen or newer), 720p or 1080p webcam, and an updated browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox).
