About the role

The company is seeking a Compliance Risk Officer to design, implement and monitor its compliance program in line with Dominican Republic Law 155-17 on Anti‑Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. The role is fully onsite and requires close interaction with internal teams, external advisors, auditors and banking entities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and track the company’s compliance program according to Law 155-17 and related regulations.
• Conduct due‑diligence and Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) processes for real‑estate sales and rental transactions.
• Prepare and submit required reports to the Financial Analysis Unit (UAF) and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date manuals, policies and risk matrices.
• Support organization and control of legal and administrative archives, ensuring integrity and confidentiality.
• Act as liaison with external advisors, auditors and banking institutions.
• Train staff on compliance matters and internal regulations.

Required profile

• Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal‑administrative functions or related areas.
• Knowledge of Law 155-17 and UAF regulations; PLAFT certification is a plus.
• Excellent written communication, document organization and handling of confidential information.
• Residence in Higüey, Punta Cana or nearby areas (100 % onsite).
• Intermediate English is desirable.
