Electrical Technician II

About the role

The Electrical Technician II is responsible for performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance across the Caucedo Terminal, ensuring that all equipment, systems, and related devices operate safely and efficiently to support port operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical rooms, including panel boards, breaker panels, meters, and the emergency generator.
• Maintain transformers, plant equipment, and pneumatic systems of the entrance building.
• Execute new projects involving material calculations, installation, and commissioning.
• Maintain internal and external lighting systems and the terminal’s pneumatic infrastructure.
• Perform electrical installations, including high‑voltage power for crane operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 procedures.
• Maintain black‑water treatment components.
• Install and uninstall furniture, panels, doors, and windows.
• Supervise contractors and guarantee safe work practices.
• Service power connections for refrigerated containers and cathodic protection systems.

Required profile

• Technical background in residential and industrial electricity.
• Formal training in Electrical Controls, Industrial Electrical Controls, and Industrial Electrical Installation & Maintenance.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license (mandatory).
• Preferably residing in Santo Domingo Este.
