Chef / Cocinero/a Principal – Morning Shift

About the role

Stanzia Café & Bar is seeking a dynamic and meticulous Chef / Principal Cook to lead the morning kitchen operation. The role focuses on agile high‑end brunch service, ensuring every plate meets the aesthetic and flavor standards that complement the specialty coffee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop, and standardize dishes using technical sheets, guaranteeing consistent plating, taste, and delivery times.
• Manage inventory, coordinate orders with suppliers, oversee receipt of raw materials, and enforce FIFO rotation to maintain freshness.
• Lead daily mise en place and sustain a fast, steady rhythm during peak morning hours.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and maintain immaculate workstations.
• Collaborate proactively with management and front‑of‑house staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of proven experience in restaurant kitchens, preferably in brunch, specialty coffee or bistro concepts.
• Expertise with knife work and precise cooking techniques, especially handling eggs, doughs, and lunch/pinsas lines.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with strict punctuality and high responsibility.
• Obsessive attention to visual detail and final plating.
