Workday Team Lead - Remote

About the role

The Workday Team Lead is a full-time remote position overseeing the configuration, maintenance and optimisation of Workday HR systems to support client operations. The role leads a small team of Workday specialists, assigns tasks, monitors progress and ensures timely delivery of system updates, integrations and reports. It runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with consistent working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tickets, validate data integrity and document system procedures
• Support HR processes such as onboarding and employee changes
• Collaborate with HR, payroll and technical stakeholders to analyse requirements, troubleshoot issues and implement best practices in Workday modules
• Lead a small team, coach team members and coordinate with nearshore staff
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve system performance and user experience

Required profile

• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant Workday experience
• Previous team leadership or coordination experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Clear, professional English; bilingual Spanish/English is highly beneficial

Required skills

• Strong expertise in at least one of HCM, Payroll or Integrations
• Analytical, troubleshooting and data integrity skills with attention to detail
• Great communication skills
