VAT Analyst

About the role

Join the Indirect Tax Team of ADI Global as a VAT Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Tax, you will manage day‑to‑day VAT compliance for multiple European businesses, work closely with external advisors, and support internal VAT reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns, EC Sales Lists and other mandatory VAT reports.
• Compile monthly VAT overviews for Country Controllers and assist with approvals.
• Submit VAT payment requests, monitor deadlines and flag significant month‑on‑month fluctuations.
• Identify incorrect VAT treatments, coordinate with Accounts Payable/Receivable to ensure proper booking.
• Reconcile VAT balance‑sheet accounts and post month‑end clearing journals.
• Support tax authority queries, audits and ad‑hoc internal requests.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in VAT processing, returns and compliance.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SAP for tax‑related transactions.
