About the role

Siemens is looking for a Signal and Maintenance Technician to join its railway signaling team in the Dominican Republic. The role is essential for keeping railway signaling equipment operating safely and reliably through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive inspections and maintenance on railway signaling systems.
• Diagnose technical faults and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Carry out repairs while prioritising operational safety.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs and incidents in detail.
• Ensure compliance with Siemens safety (EHS) and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain continuous railway service.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and skill development.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Electronics, Electricity, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Previous experience in railway signaling system maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical ability to diagnose faults under pressure.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
• Flexibility to work night, rotating shifts and respond to emergencies outside regular hours.
