Team Leader – Record to Report Intercompany

About the role

The Team Leader RtR Intercompany is responsible for managing a team that handles intercompany accounting, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with GAAP and SOX, and continuous process improvement. You will lead talent development, foster employee engagement, and act as the main point of contact for audit and regulatory support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve intercompany out‑of‑balances to avoid late adjustments in monthly reporting.
• Review and approve GL account reconciliations performed by RtR Intercompany accountants.
• Monitor overdue intercompany receivables and drive timely resolution.
• Ensure monthly closing and regional reporting deadlines are met.
• Lead lean accounting, process‑improvement projects, and suggest efficiency enhancements.
• Provide routine management reporting and collaborate with other RtR and IR functions.
• Execute SOX controls, including high‑threshold journal entry approvals.
• Support statutory tasks, tax returns, and internal/external auditors.

Required profile

• University degree in finance or economics; ACCA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, audit, advisory or tax, including people‑management responsibilities.
• Advanced level of English.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is advantageous.

• Oracle (experience preferred)
