Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with hiring managers and leaders to attract, select, and onboard top talent for the Santo Domingo office. This role ensures hiring needs are met efficiently while complying with local employment laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from planning and sourcing to assessment and hiring for both internal and external positions.
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline and organize the recruiting process.
• Assess candidates' knowledge, skills, and experience to match open roles.
• Maintain consultative relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand hiring needs.
• Develop and sustain relationships with staffing agencies.
• Provide regular updates on open positions, market feedback, challenges, and trends.
• Promote vacancies through social media, networking, and job boards.
• Report recruiting activities to supervisors and business partners.
• Conduct reference and background checks, generate offers, and support new hires with onboarding documentation.
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with departmental procedures and government regulations.
• Complete onboarding paperwork, including offer letters, non‑compete agreements, and background checks.
• Support new hires through the first 60 days and process internal change‑in‑position paperwork.
• Perform additional HR duties as part of the HR team.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in talent acquisition or a related recruiting role.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Strict adherence to confidentiality and high ethical standards.
• Strong multitasking ability and efficient management of high‑priority tasks.
• Consistent attendance and ability to work onsite according to company policies.
