About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Supervisor leads production activities at a plant, ensuring products are assembled to the highest quality and cost‑efficiency standards. This role drives continuous improvement, monitors key performance metrics, and guarantees compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in capacity meetings and provide solutions for resource optimisation.
• Identify, develop, and implement continuous‑improvement projects to boost efficiency, quality and cost performance.
• Monitor, analyse, and ensure compliance with plant metrics such as scrap, adherence, efficiency, 6S, safety, absenteeism and turnover, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Audit metric records on production lines and guide Line Supervisors in daily metric reviews.
• Lead improvements derived from customer complaint investigations within the area.
• Ensure machinery inspections are current and performed according to procedures.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate employee performance, enforcing internal policies and EHS procedures.
• Promote training for High‑Performance Teams and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising manufacturing or production teams.
• Strong knowledge of plant metrics, continuous‑improvement methodologies and EHS standards.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, drive corrective actions and manage change.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and decision‑making skills.
