Advanced Quality Supervisor

About the role

TE Connectivity is looking for an Advanced Quality Supervisor to lead a team of Automotive Quality Engineers (AQEs) in the development of innovative products. You will shape quality strategy, drive continuous improvement, and ensure world‑class standards across new product development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of AQEs, providing a clear strategic roadmap.
• Set, monitor and achieve team and individual KPIs aligned with business and customer expectations.
• Manage capacity, resource allocation and prioritisation of quality activities for NPD projects.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives related to APQP, VDA RGA, quality procedures, product development processes and digitalisation.
• Act as the first escalation point for quality‑related issues, handling internal and external escalations.
• Plan, organise and deliver training programmes to raise technical expertise and quality awareness.
• Support critical NPD projects as a Quality Core Team Member, overseeing APQP deliverables, PPAP readiness, FMEA, capability studies, control plans and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Initial leadership experience with the ability to coach teams and drive performance.
• Strong customer‑focused mindset and excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AIAG APQP, VDA RGA, PPAP/PPA and customer‑specific requirements management.
• Experience with quality methodologies such as FMEA, 8D problem‑solving, MSA and statistical capability studies.
• Familiarity with quality tools and systems including APIS IQ‑RM Pro and QDAS Solara/qs‑STAT.
• Understanding of quality management standards and audit requirements (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, VDA 6.3).
