About the role

The Senior Industrialization Engineer will lead manufacturing and industrialization activities for new product introductions, guiding projects from development through production release. You will shape manufacturing strategy for Drives, Contactors, and Sensors product lines, ensuring readiness, quality, and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate development and procurement of prototype and production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Provide technical input on design decisions to improve manufacturability, reduce cost, and meet special customer requirements.
  • Collaborate on Industry 4.0 implementations for NPI projects and ensure Design for Manufacturability.
  • Lead pilot production lines, create process controls, work instructions, and standard work, and train plant personnel.
  • Drive production readiness, validate processes, and resolve issues across all functions.
  • Collect and analyze early product and process data using Design for Six Sigma, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methods.
  • Manage product cost and capital expense forecasts, support cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain test specifications, test plans, and acceptance criteria; work with plant test engineers and suppliers to deploy reliable production test systems.

Required profile

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or plant‑operations environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with production tooling, assembly fixtures, and electro‑mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with part/assembly drawings and bills of materials.
  • Experience in new product development, industrialization, and pilot‑line build‑up is preferred.
