Supervisor de Construcción

About the role

The Construction Supervisor will join Barrick's Projects team to manage resources and oversee the construction of expansion projects. The role ensures that each project meets internal client requirements, legal standards, and safety, quality, schedule, and cost parameters.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities, ensuring compliance with work scope, schedules, and design drawings.
• Monitor progress and costs, reporting delays, unplanned events, design discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions.
• Support budget request preparation to guarantee resource availability for project execution.
• Implement and enforce project‑specific quality plans to meet established standards.
• Collaborate in pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up phases, ensuring adherence to QA/QC, safety, and environmental policies.
• Maintain physical and electronic project records and ensure delivery of all required documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate in Industrial, Civil, Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in project development and personnel supervision.
• Proven experience in project management, engineering and procurement tracking, cost estimation, planning, and resource management.
