SME Manager (Puerto Plata)

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven SME Manager to lead the growth, development and retention of our small‑and‑medium‑enterprise (SME) client portfolio in Puerto Plata. The role combines commercial focus with a strong service orientation, delivering high‑value financial solutions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Advise SME clients on their financial needs and propose comprehensive solutions that support business growth.
• Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective clients through strategic visits, commercial follow‑up and loyalty actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client profiles in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor commercial and credit risk indicators, identify early signs of delinquency, and coordinate collections and overdraft management.
• Participate in high‑value client events and collaborate with Risk, Product and Channel teams to implement the SME segment strategy.

Required profile

• Residence in Puerto Plata.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of commercial experience in banking or financial services serving the SME segment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Knowledge of banking products and regulatory compliance.
