Investment Support Officer

About the role

The Investment Support Officer provides essential assistance to Scotiabank clients and branch staff through a dedicated phone line. The role focuses on handling investment‑related inquiries, processing transactions, and performing key administrative tasks. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operation of investment services and client transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone support to clients and branches, dedicating 3–4 hours daily.
• Handle inbound calls regarding investment inquiries and transaction processing.
• Perform administrative tasks, including reviewing reports and validating workload volumes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement based on workload analysis.
• Review client‑requested transfer documentation and complete transfer processing between banking institutions.
• Support investment‑related processes such as certificates, cheques, deposits, and investment fund transactions.
• Assist with education account transactions and products for persons with disabilities.
• Manage administrative cases that require analysis and follow‑up.
• Adhere to scheduled working hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00 am‑5:00 pm.
