Senior Supply Chain Planner

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to develop and execute long‑term supply chain strategies, support capacity planning and ensure optimal product flow across its global network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and implement long‑term supply chain networks addressing capacity constraints and production location decisions.
• Participate in monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and weekly S&OE cycles, managing rough‑cut capacity and short‑term scenario planning.
• Maintain master data, planning system configurations, and governance of planning standards.
• Create and own the Master Production Schedule and support Monthly Planning Handshake/SIOP processes.
• Collaborate with regional, DRP, manufacturing, sourcing, marketing and distribution teams to improve communication and process flows.
• Drive KPI performance for service levels, inventory, backorder dollars and net requirement attainment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of supply chain planning experience (2 years with an advanced degree).
• Advanced knowledge of supply chain concepts, capacity planning, and scenario analysis.
• Project‑management experience and ability to mentor lower‑level specialists.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
