Senior Supply Chain Planner

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to develop and implement long‑term supply chain strategies that support business goals and ensure product availability worldwide. The role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive network redesigns, new product launches and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze capacity constraints and production location decisions to design optimal supply chain networks.
• Support execution of new programs, including forecasting, coordination for key events and product launches.
• Monitor sales and operations planning KPIs and cost‑to‑serve metrics, providing insights to improve effectiveness.
• Lead cross‑functional work teams to implement supply chain initiatives and process improvements.
• Mentor lower‑level specialists and review their work to ensure quality and alignment with standards.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of supply chain planning, acquired through higher education and several years of experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and make data‑driven decisions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven capability to manage projects from design through implementation.
