Senior Project Engineer

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead end‑to‑end medical device product transfer projects. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements while driving timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead product transfer projects, managing timelines, milestones, resources and budgets.
• Build and monitor critical‑path schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Facilitate collaboration across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain and R&D.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans.
• Provide technical leadership to support manufacturing readiness and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or Master’s with fewer years) and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects in a regulated medical‑device or life‑sciences environment.
• Proven track record managing product transfers, scale‑up activities and manufacturing implementation.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project for scheduling and resource planning.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies applied to engineering projects.
