Senior OPEX/Lean Engineer

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Senior OPEX/Lean Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive the deployment of the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the CI team to execute plant-wide CI initiatives and support ECIS deployment.
• Design and implement processes that meet quality, customer service, and manufacturing targets while improving efficiency.
• Facilitate Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) strategies, create SMART implementation plans, and provide training to embed a continuous improvement culture.
• Conduct process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data‑driven decision‑making to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with OPEX managers, division leadership, and functional leaders to align projects with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical, electromechanical engineering, business administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in continuous improvement, lean transformation, or manufacturing engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification; Six Sigma Yellow Belt responsibility noted.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Lean tools application (Kaizen, RIE, value‑stream mapping, etc.).
• Six Sigma methodology and statistical analysis.
• Project management knowledge (SME level).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and MS Visio.
