Senior Full-stack Engineer - Payroll Software

About the role

We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer to design and build scalable payroll, billing and HR solutions for a global marketing and communications network. The role offers full ownership of feature development from design through production in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, database and system architecture.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery, making key technical and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate directly with clients, stakeholders and remote team members to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Design and implement integrations with payroll, billing, HR and third-party enterprise systems.
• Balance scalability, performance and business priorities while solving complex technical challenges.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and automation.

Required profile

• Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte, React, Vue or Angular.
• Solid experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and SQL schema design and optimization.
• Proven ability to design APIs, integrations, authentication flows and webhooks for enterprise systems.
