Semi Senior Full Stack Engineer (.Net/Angular) – Government Tech

About the role

We are seeking a semi‑senior full stack engineer to join a focused application security initiative for a cloud‑based platform serving public‑sector organizations. The role involves hands‑on work across the .NET and Angular stack, addressing security vulnerabilities and supporting continuous improvement of the product.

Key responsibilities

• Remediate security issues such as XSS, path traversal, SQL injection, and weak cryptography by upgrading dependencies (NuGet, npm) and applying code‑level fixes.
• Write unit and functional tests for every fix to verify that vulnerabilities are resolved and existing features remain stable.
• Own major version upgrades end‑to‑end, diagnosing build breaks or behavioral changes and driving resolution.
• Document findings and solutions to create reusable knowledge for the team.
• Collaborate with other product teams to gather context, coordinate reviews, and manage credential rotations across services.
• Harden Dockerfiles and Kubernetes configurations to eliminate insecure defaults such as running containers as root.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with solid experience in full stack development and a strong security mindset.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and communicate technical decisions clearly.
• Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and handling coordination tasks such as credential rotation.
