Recruiting Specialist (SDQ)

About the role

A Recruiting Specialist is needed to support the team's recruitment efforts, in line with both day-to-day and strategic goals. The role covers recruitment and sourcing, resume review and phone screening, data tracking, employee onboarding and general HR duties.

Key responsibilities

• Review applications and interview applicants to gather work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements, and share information about the organization and position
• Use sourcing tools and techniques such as online social networking, traditional networking, searches and referrals to attract candidates
• Fill staffing needs promptly and keep a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
• Schedule interviews and administer the candidate assessment process
• Exercise discretion and judgment in HR matters, policy interpretation and conflict resolution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Advanced or fluent bilingual English
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting or a recruiting/sourcing role
• Student of Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize several tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented, organized and detail-oriented

Required skills

• Proficiency with candidate sources and recruiting systems
• Strong influence and negotiation skills
