Project Accounting Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Project Accounting Analyst to support our Project Set‑Up team in the Dominican Republic. You will ensure accurate financial management of projects from creation through completion, handling coordination, data validation, and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project/job creation queue, validating data and obtaining approvals.
• Track project progress, flag potential delays, and prepare regular status reports.
• Maintain up‑to‑date, well‑organized project documentation accessible to the team.
• Support month‑end close, process orders, and perform reconciliations across systems.
• Verify daily samples of completed set‑ups, provide feedback, and assist supervisors with metric tracking.
• Monitor risks, escalate issues when needed, and communicate resolutions to market leads.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams on special projects and communicate processing requirements.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and analytical with a hands‑on approach to complex problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent time‑management, planning, and multitasking abilities.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively across departments.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including handling large data sets.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with data analysis and financial transaction management.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP (a plus).
