Production and Inventory Control Manager

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Production and Inventory Control Manager to lead material purchasing, inventory management, and logistics functions for its plant in the Dominican Republic. The role reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for ensuring material availability, cost control, and on‑time delivery to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material control policies, procedures, and systems.
• Plan and schedule material requirements, coordinating with purchasing, production, and engineering.
• Monitor inventory levels, drive reduction initiatives, and meet customer service targets.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics in compliance with corporate policies and third‑party contracts.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to align supply and inventory plans with product line goals.
• Control the budget for material expenses and achieve productivity objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in material, inventory, or production control.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive process improvements.

Required skills

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for material planning.
