Project Coordinator with German

About the role

Join Desoutter as a Project Coordinator and take ownership of exciting customer solutions, guiding them from initial concept and quotation through to successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects end‑to‑end from quotation and pre‑calculation to final delivery and handover
• Create and manage clear project plans, including milestones, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers, including sourcing and evaluating vendor offers
• Review and confirm technical specifications after order intake and ensure alignment with agreed scope
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, proactively managing expectations and resolving issues
• Ensure complete and high‑quality project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in on‑site visits for project reviews, technical clarifications, and commissioning

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or an equivalent technical qualification
• Approximately 2+ years experience in project management or a technical/manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track
• Proactive, hands‑on mindset with ownership
• Confidence working with different stakeholders (customers, sales, engineers, suppliers)
• Interest in technical topics and ability to understand customer requirements
• Fluency in English and German
• Driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally (including to Germany)
