About the role

The centre is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and pharmacological treatment for adult and adolescent patients. The role works closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychotherapists to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments, clinical diagnoses, and manage medication for adults and adolescents.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case discussion meetings with psychotherapists.
• Design coordinated treatment plans and maintain continuous feedback with the treating therapist.
• Keep clinical records up‑to‑date and compliant with public health regulations.
• Respect ethical and professional boundaries of each discipline within mental health care.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a specialization in Psychiatry, valid Dominican Medical College registration.
• Minimum five years of proven clinical experience with adult patients and ability to treat adolescents.
• Strong interdisciplinary teamwork, excellent inter‑professional communication, and a holistic view of mental health.
• High ethical standards and respect for the limits of psychotherapeutic practice.
