Materials Planner I

About the role

Hayco is looking for a Materials Planner I to support its manufacturing operations. In this early‑career position you will balance customer demand, production schedules, inventory levels and supplier performance to ensure timely product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage material planning and inventory levels to meet production requirements.
• Generate and follow up on purchase orders and supplier shipments.
• Monitor production schedules and work orders to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Support MRP processes and production planning activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise supply‑chain performance.
• Troubleshoot supply and customer‑service challenges proactively.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production planning or customer service.
• Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills.
• English proficiency (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system (preferred).
