Material Handler

About the role

Medtronic is hiring a Material Handler in San Isidro, part of its Production Support career stream. The role supports manufacturing operations and/or distribution centers, covering assembly, machinery, processing, packaging and distribution of company products. It is an intermediate-level, independent contributor position working under moderate supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Monitor, evaluate and adjust processes or packaging equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
• Package materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes.
• Complete batch records and associated documentation.
• Work in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment, following safety guidelines, processing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Take part in team projects that develop process improvements to enhance quality, cost and scheduling.
• Report machine malfunctions or abnormalities, with higher levels recommending or making adjustments to methods and processes.
• May be involved in shipping, receiving, inventory control or storage in distribution centers.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing or supply chain operational procedures, systems and tools, gained through experience, training, education or certification.
• 1+ year of related experience, which may combine practical experience with applicable training, education or certification.
• No minimum education requirement.
• Knowledge of operating equipment and established operational procedures.
