Learning and Development Manager

About the role

The Learning and Development Manager defines and executes the organization's learning and development strategy to build critical capabilities, strengthen leadership effectiveness and support long-term business goals. The role designs career development pathways, leadership development journeys and succession pipelines, promotes internal mobility, and uses data-driven evaluation to ensure development investments close skill gaps and improve performance and retention. The position is based in Santiago and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of career development pathways and succession pipelines, promoting internal mobility and internal promotions.
• Plan and implement L&D programs aligned with organizational needs, assess existing programs, identify skill gaps and adapt or create new curricula.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through learning outcomes, content relevance, knowledge retention and practical application, tracking KPIs such as eNPS, leadership effectiveness, internal promotions and retention.
• Oversee the L&D budget, monitor expenditures and negotiate contracts with external training providers.
• Deliver diverse learning methods including e-learning, coaching, mentoring, classroom training and workshops.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education or a related field.
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Development and/or Training.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
